紐約時報警告 千萬別吃這款「澱粉炸彈」血管恐爆光 The New York Times warned that you should not eat this "starch bomb" blood vessel

美國有報導說,千萬別吃炸薯條,因為研究顯示「經常食用油炸馬鈴薯,與死亡風險增加有關」。對此,公共衛生學院流行病學和營養學系教授Eric Rimm,稱薯條為「澱粉炸彈」,並建議大家少吃為妙。

 The United States has reported that you should not eat French fries, because research shows that "frequent consumption of fried potatoes is associated with an increased risk of death." In this regard, Eric Rimm, a professor of epidemiology and nutrition at the School of Public Health, called fries "starch bombs" and suggested that everyone eat less.

 《紐約時報》報導,Eric Rimm表示,馬鈴薯位於蔬菜底部,缺乏綠色蔬菜中的營養素。加上食用馬鈴薯時會去皮,也就是把最後的營養成分去掉,接著切片油炸,加上鹽、奶酪、辣椒或肉醬等調味,讓馬鈴薯變為澱粉炸彈,破壞健康。

 馬鈴薯會讓血糖飆高,增加肥胖,糖尿病和心血管疾病的風險。研究結果發現,每週吃兩到三次炸薯條的人與沒吃薯條的民眾相比,死亡風險更高。
